All you can eat Chinese buffet
Waste of money if you asked me. I ate a huge dinner at 8 at the China Buffet, and I just finished a pizza. What do they do to the food that it doesn't keep you filled? I didn't even take my customary post Chinese dump and I was hungry again.

Most of the food is vegetables or mixed thereof. If you have something like a 'buddah feast' which is totally vegatables then you will be hungry again.
However if you have sometging like 'orange chicken' or 'bbq pork ribs', then you will not be AS hungry. I've been there and done that; and it tells me to eat a little more meat and and I will not be hungry.
Perhaps a solution, but an answer nonetheless.0 -

I've seen Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. I'm not touching the salmon.

Dad used to tell me to never eat at a Chinese restaurant located next to a veterinary clinic! 0 -
eat until you cant move...then cram 5 bowls of pudding in followed by 20 of those suger doughnuts. if it doesnt kill you, youll be full as the dough expands from the heat of your body.
been there.[:0][xx(]0 -
If any of you ever saw the kitchen in most Chinese restaurants, you would probably never eat at one again,.........the "buffet" places, are the worst of all.[8D] 0 -
Chop Suey is not Chinese - research it's origins.

Not necessarily! I am a Commercial A/C and Refrigeration contractor, that also used to do all general kitchen cooking equipment. I largely worked for the larger franchises like Chili's, Red Lobster,...etc.
I used to get calls from small independents in my area also, and I quit doing work in any Chinese restaurants because of the utter filth.
Not a plug, as I don't do any restaurants any longer, but Chili's had some of the best run, and as clean as is possible in that business, kitchens I have seen, and I used to do a lot of their locations.
You would not want to eat off of the floor, in any restaurant though,.......that is correct![8D]0 -
Eat chicken, Broccoli, fish, frogs legs, at least three full plates of each with lots of veggies and little rice. Then wash it down with hot tea and water. Also eat tons of fruit and some tapioca. After four to six plates you will be, and will stay; full. Well, actually you will stay full until the broccoli does its job. 0 -
did you have any problems after you ate? like coughing up hairballs? 0 -

I ate at several all you can eat Chinese Buffets in China. The food is quite different than what you find here in the US. Actually it was better over there. 0 -
I like to eat Chinese. Never had that problem of being hungry latter though. I'm not a light eater at all either. I like my food. 0 -
