No, but I do have the metabolism of a hummingbird, I just need to eat often or I get cranky and I'll also get a massive headache,0 -

i don't know if it would be low blood sugar, more like lack of carbohydrates, most non diabetics blood sugar does not fluctuate enough, your ether diabetic, hypoglycemic, or your not, and blood sugar it not the culprit
i used to think the same thing, i bought a glucose meter, and no matter what i do or don't do, eat or not eat my sugar stays around 120 give or take, if your fluctuation seriously to get weak SEE A DOCTOR0 -

Me too. Something called hypoglycemia (spelling?). It's like a cousin to diabetes. My dad's got it, too, so I learned from him how to control it and thus have never seen a doctor about it. Both of us drank heavily at different times in our lives, too -- lots of sugar in alcohol, not to mention lots of alcohol in alcohol.... And who has time to eat when they're getting hammered? Oh, yeah, we were a ton of fun to be around.
I still have to eat -- lots of protein -- I burn more energy breathing than most people do in a hard workout. My doctor says I wouldn't make it two weeks in the typical third-world, food-deprived country.0 -

I have had a few people mention that to me. But I have never seen a Dr. about it. After all, why should I see a Dr. when I have been able to control it for the past 35 years? I have never been a drinker but I do love my sweets[:p] Like you and your dad it's under control so there is nothing to worry about, just pass the pizza and nobody will get hurt[;)]0 -

You may need your meter recalibrated. My guess is that since it doesn't fluctuate much is that you aren't diabetic but the meter is reading high. The next time you have lab work done ask them to inform you of your BG levels. They probably are around 80-90 mg/dL.
Those little meters are a marvel of modern technology but...they aren't that accurate.
