...just got my latest FFL Newsletter, whoopie.
Remember when they changed the regs to allow FAXED copies a couple of years ago? BUT, they would not allow for a scanned e-mailed copy...THAT, made NO sense; since a faxed copy would not have an "inked" sig either.
...New Newsletter says that after examining the matter (duh) that scanned e-mailed copies are now acceptable. AND, that a "stamped" or whatever type of signature by the FFL holder as long as it is INTENDED to be his original signature, is acceptable too.
...Boy, only took them two years to figure this one out...and how many hundreds of thousands of tax dollars...[:0][;)]

...[:0] no...have not had time to read it all yet. Dang, I guess the ATF has been too busy figuring out that faxed and scanned FFL's...were the same...OR, too busy being the "spelling police" during their audits on poor FFL holders.
...like the guy that sells here. I forget his shops name, but every gun he had ever logged in was/has been accounted for, just had some misspelled words in his bound book; and their hammering him [V]0
