Marketing idea
In many truck stops and some other men's rooms they have scent dispensers such as this one:
Why the heck hasn't someone ever marketed insect repellent this way in state parks, outdoor gun ranges, and so forth?

I believe that it may be because many people are highly allergic to some of the repellants used - and there are many - and the financial risk, i.e. lawsuit, of having someone getting ill or developing a severe rash on the road and possibly away from medical care is too great. Also, a lot of people simply do not apply repellants properly and accidentally ingest them or get them in their eyes. Just my opinion. 0 -

I've got a line of scented candles for men and one of them is Hoppes #9. I also have BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. I'm working on a few others, but they're top secret right now.0 -

I think because you're dealing with poisons, etc. The potential for lawsuits is tremendous. Plus, you'd have to list all the nifty ingredients so as to avoid allergic reactions. There's also the question of shelf life (can a cologne last longer than insect repellent). 0 -
