The Texas State Police are cracking down on speeders heading into Dallas. For the first offense, they give you 2 Dallas Cowboy tickets. If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them.

    Q. How do you keep a Dallas Cowboy out of your yard?
    A. Put up a goal post.

    Q. What do you call a Dallas Cowboy with a Super Bowl ring?
    A. Old

    Q. What's the difference between the Dallas Cowboys and a dollar bill?
    A. You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

    Q. How many Dallas Cowboys does it take to win a Super Bowl?
    A. Nobody remembers.

    Q. What do the Cowboys and a possums have in common?
    A. Both play dead at home and get killed on the road!

    Man, this defense is weak.

I mean, Rex Grossman is picking them apart.

Seems TO fell asleep ON the job this time. Both in the endzone costing the Cowboys a 15 yard penalty and a dropped ball (due to lack of concentration) that cost his team the potentially winning TD. Sure hope Jerry Jones is geting his moneys worth[:p][:p][:p]

I heard that if enough interest is shown, Dallas may get a real football team some day. Don

Dallas is kicking the Bears ass up and down the field, ticky tack penalties is the only thing keeping the bears in it.

Were you watching the same game I was? A 34 - 10 win for the Cowboys hardly suggests their defense getting picked apart.

Sure the cowgirls are popular but not unbeatable nor outstandingly talented. I was a fan back in the 70's when Golden and the Dodger were playing but nowadays the enthusiasm has waned. Still don't understand the troll thing.

OK - it's something you call a person who expresses a dissenting opinion? I've worked for Logo7/Logo Athletic and I know there's a lot of money in selling sports souvenirs but that doesn't make the team a winner. I see Texas Stadium every day on my way to and from work. I like Wade. I want them to excel. Maybe they will. I like the Colts too and I hope they do well also. I just don't root for the vaqueros.

If you're really needing the definition of a "troll", it's someone who posts a dissenting veiw only for reaction or to stir the pot, not because the believe it. It is also a person who makes a fake user I.D. just to post topics or views to start trouble.

We have some here, but usually we are just poking fun at each other when we call each other trolls![;)]

You're barking at the wrong burgler, dog. I didn't accuse you of being a troll, HeavyBarrel did, I was just answering your question. I'll be happy to just shut up and let you talk to yourself if that's what you want.[:D]

PS, Pa' was only a troll when he wanted to be![}:)]

I loved watching this game, because I can still recall the butt whipping Chicago gave Dallas back in the 1985 season.

After my favorite cat "SCOOBY" got hit by a car Sunday morning I was in a down mood all day. Even bagging a bunch of geese in the morning didn't help lift my spirits. This morning when my wife woke up she let our Lab outside and it got sprayed by a skunk just outside my bedroom window. Then when I opened my closet door the entire cloths rack fell off the wall onto the floor. Still after all that I still had to smile. After watching the BOY's give the BEAR's that azz whipping last night I couldn't help it.

...It's no surprise that a lot of football fans do no like the Cowboys, pure jealousy. Of what, 40 played SB's there are just a handful of teams have won the most?? Cowboys, 49ers, Pittsburg, Patriots (almost 20 wins of the 40 played between those four teams!)...not counting the appearances they have made; does not leave much room for the other teams to have even been there.

Chicogo can not win(nor any team) w/o a QB, lucky last year...their defense pulled them thru. Dallas has a very balanced offense that can keep a defense on the field and just plain tire them out, happened last night. Bears need to dump Grossman...maybe Lovie will...[;)]

bigcity quote:Sure the cowgirls are popular but not unbeatable nor outstandingly talented.

...Correct, VERY popular, except for the teams and fans that count themselves among the Boys victims, of which there are many.

...Of course the Boys are not unbeatable, please name a team that is??

..."nor outstandingly talented"??? Beg to differ ther bud!

...A defense that is fromidable and still comming around, even though the D is riddled w/injuries, uh, leading the league thru 3 games with interceptions?

Romo may be the best "new" young QB playing this year. Outstanding recievers and RB's...the most combined ttl points put up by an offense thru three games?

...At the very heart of a good Offense is a balanced offense...good QB. RB's..and reciever corps to present a multiple threat to ANY defense to keep the D guessing and having to wonder WTH is comming their way next; and the Boys DO have a well balanced offense.

..So just WHAT is your definition of "outstandinly talented"(?) an individual(?) Last I took note, footbal is a team sport and to be successful as a team; the HAS to be balanced on both sides of the ball.

...I had grave doubts about 'ol Wade being the new coach, but he is starting to gain some of my respect. Jason Garrett was a very technical student of the game and back-up QB for the Boys years ago and is now calling the entire offenseive game; I am impressed with what he has done so far...I had my doubts with him as well...being the youngest (?) offensive cooridinator in the league.

...Under the Tuna, the Boys appeared uptight all the time, not a good thing. Ive noticed this year they are all so damn relaxed! They all seem to be having a LOT of fun, kinda like a bunch of kids playing "pick-up" ball on a sand lot, a GOOD thing...they're having fun...and WINNING.

...Garrett is about as nerdy as Peyton Manning when it comes to the "book smarts" regarding football, which obviously is a good thing! (Mannings record as argueably the best QB playing today, speaks for itself!)...as results speak loudly and BS walks, and doesn't make the playoffs...[;)]
