Why isn't there a bounty..............
on illegal aliens? [:(!]
There are bounty hunters that legally pursue criminals in every state of this fine nation. Once captured, they are processed through the legal system and commonly end up in prison. If they are not US citizens, they are typically deported to their country of origin. Our laws are quite clear, in that covert and unauthorized entry into the United States is an illegal act. Of course, those "conveniently" caught are dealt with at the time of detection (in the trunk of a car, packed like sardines in a van, tunneling under, or climbing over boarder fences, etc.). Why is it that our Immigration Department turns a blind eye to those that are already here? [B)]
I propose a $100 bounty be paid (by the respective state) for every illegal alien captured and turned over to the INS. An additional $25 to be paid if the alien is surrendered in unharmed condition. Personally, I would only be claiming the base $100 on those that I turn over. [;)]
So, what are your thoughts on this hypothetical topic? [^]

With an estimated 30 mil illegals in the country,that would only cost us 3 bil to deport. Sounds good to me,heck of alot cheaper than it costs to educate and give health care in one year. 0 -

Immigration is controlled by the Federal Government, or in the case of our current government, not controlled.0 -
haha, yeah call the Bush Admin and ask them !!! but seriously, i researched citizens arrest laws and the only thing i found was for state offenses, not federal. but i am VERY curious to know. 0 -

The problem I see is one of trying to curb vigilante justice.
You know that there are plenty of people who would take "Dead or Alive" seriously.
