French People
How is it they smell so badly and never realize it. Or do they realize it and thats why they concoct so many colognes and perfumes.

All insulting aside, about the worst odor I've ever experienced was on a parisian subway in the summer. Between the unwashed bodies and HEAVY use of scents, I had a pounding headache and plenty of nausea. Never did that again! I can dismiss the Brits' habit of drinking warm beer as an odd cultural quirk, but this is just plain nasty.0 -

I'm from cattle country, so the smell I can handle.
But the few times I"ve been in France, I was astonished by their suoperior attitude.

It isn't just the French.
We Americans are rather obsessed with cleanliness. That's not a bad thing IMO.
We're one of the few nations where people actually bathe daily. Many Europeans bathe once or twice a week. And, yeah, IMO, the perfumes, colognes, etc. are there to cover the stench.0 -

Yea, I run into a few smelly people at gunshows. But the other day, I was at the post office and got behind this fat balding guy that stunk to high heaven! Everyone in the place noticed it. Women were holding tissues over their noses, my eyes were starting to water! And this fat slob just stood there oblivious to it all. 0 -
Archaeological evidence indicates that the francisca was a common weapon among the Franks. It is believed by many that their name was actually derived from the francisca's name, (which would mean that the name France is ultimately also a derivative of the weapon's name.)

Having lived a couple miles from the French Border for two years, I think the Belgians stink way more than the French. But knowing the Root of their origins too I would not say that to their face. I think some people stink cause they eat too much red meat. 0 -
...their hygene habits are BAD (read: almost non-exsistant here).
... A friend's wife has to meet with several French business men every other week...she always tries to have the meetings as close to Monday as she can; by the end of the week, you can't stay in the same room with them they (French) smell so rank...[;)]0
