Lost
Is Locke dead?

Anyone watch this show?
My brother said to watch it, but I have missed all of the earlier episodes.
I am thinking of getting it from Netflix but just want to know if it is worth it or not. Don't want to know details but just whether it is good.0 -
and totaly confused. Did anybody else watch the season finale of Lost tonight? 0 -
Me or the wife has misplaced 200 dollars in sportsmans warehouse gift cards. If you have misplased something where do you look. I have tried every where I can think of. I have emptyed the safe 3 times with no luck. 0 -
Just thought it made sense to point out that the man looking for Ben has to be A. Hanso (could be pissed at him because he killed the dhrama folk), and the boat is from the Widmore Corp. Thats Penny's father, the dude who wouldn't let Desmond drink his scotch. 0 -
Finally a reason to turn on the tv. 0 -
Made sense to me. Kill the bad "Others". Charlie is dead. Locke's shot to the chest is a flesh wound. The Others will unite with the castaways. The dudes on the boat are the new bad guys.
Ben probably won't make it through next season without dying.
Flashbacks to the character's past are over. We know all we need to know about their history. While we thought we were seeing a flashback about the doctor's past, it was actually the future. The Doc's life becomes a mess. Everyone abandons him.
These flashforwards will be the plan for next season.0 -
Confused? ... why are you confused?
Jake and Kate having at some point
in their pasts been married was a
revelation, fer sure! An absolutely
fine finale! Well crafted, allowing
for a pretty interesting story line
for the next season.[8D]0 -
Good. Season 3 will be coming out on DVD soon, and I'll be able to catch up. 0 -
Jack and Kate could only have been married in the period between their rescue and Jack's suicide attempt.
As far as I'm concerned, the whole show could be a closeup of Kate's face with everything else happening in the background. Durn she's cute.[:p]0 -
Kate was married to Jake BEFORE Jake's suicide attempt - because during Jake's suicide attempt Kate was living with another guy!
[[[Jeeeze - how embarrassing! ... I'm actually following
a TV soap! ... I need to give this some deep and
serious thought. ... as I become a senior citizen I
seem to be losing some directional focus here! LOL]]]

Man I was sad to see Tom killed by Sawyer. I think they need to kill more of these guys but I liked Tom he was a great bad guy! 0 -

I think the other guy is going to be Hurley.0 -
My only question was from the flashforward, who was in the casket that nobody went to see but Jack?
There's no evidence that Jack and Kate were married in that. He only asked to see her at the airport and apparently she's with somebody else at that point.
There's a lot of filling in to do between where they left off and that flashforward.
I was not happy that they had to kill Charlie off. He could have got out of there and shut the door. The incoming water would have held the door shut.
I was glad to see the others get killed off and Ben back in custody. Really got a kick out of Hurley saving the day.
I thought it was a great finale.0 -
From the summary:
"Maybe Ben was telling the truth. And with the narrative cutaways throughout this episode, "Lost" may have signaled a shift into a new phase next season, positioning the saga for its end: Instead of the customary flashbacks, viewers for the first time got a glimpse of the future."
In case anybody was wondering, I heard the producers have said there's at least 30 more episodes, over 3 seasons to go and there won't be anymore re-runs. We'll see.0 -
Never seen it.[:)] 0 -

I was standing at the tag board of our hunt club one morning listening to 40 - 70 year old men talk about a soap opera one morning. They were really into it. I asked a question and they couldn't beleive I have never seen even one episode of Nip/Tuck on FX.0 -
Only people that have watched it from the beginning can appreciate what the show is. It's excellent writing and an excellent cast. Very involved. Basically, you can't miss one episode or you won't understand what they're doing in the next one.
I am not one begging for the next show to fill my time. I dislike many of the most popular shows and go most nights without watching any tv.
That said, I won't miss Lost. ABC hit a homerun with this one.0 -

That was not the past dude it was the future. Jack is talking about them having to go back to the island. Remember he talked about the gold pass the airline gave them so he flies back and forth over the Pacific hoping they will crash.0 -

dead isn't always dead on the island. witness Locke shot in the chest and left to die.Pull Charlie out pump out the water and see what happens0 -
Yeah, next season will probably have some more of these flash-forward scenes. If you miss an episode of the show, you are truly LOST. 0 -
I won't even discuss LOST with someone who has not been following it closely from the beginning. You have to pay close attention to every scene in order to follow it. Unlike most programs, the producers do not assume that every viewer is an idiot and have to have everything spelled out for them. For example; the name of the funeral home is not that odd when you scramble the letters and spell "Flash Forward".
Not every episode is a home run, but, nothing else on tv comes close to the creativity of LOST.0 -

Did you notice Syeed digging a few episodes ago. I wonder if he wasn't digging up the wonder twins who poisoned themselves and were barried.0 -
Anyone know where I can get one of those "Lost" walkie-talkies that work even when the other party is underwater or on the other side of a mountainous island? [:D]
+1 to it being unfortunate that they killed off the "Tom" character. I kinda liked him as a badguy.0
