FINALLY!!..after 6 wks of searching..
...for someone to plate a bushing, slide stop, mag release, and thumb safety...I found someone, whoo-hoo! I have contacted at least half a dozen co's up to this point and NONE had even had the decency to em me a "yes", "no", or "kiss my butt" response.
...No problem with the tolerance of the parts fitting either, he said they do a lot of guns that have been built with real close tolerences...and no prob.
...Called this co http://www.originalmetaloy.com/pricing.html and talked with the owner, super guy, and was honest.
...aprox 2-3 weeks turn around too.
...When I ask him if the $25 bucks for 3 day return shipping would apply to 4 small parts, he said nah, just add in $6 bucks to the total cost for priority mail, cool.
...Getting the parts done in not bright, not matt finish...an in between, works for me....now to get/take the time to pull the parts off...[;)]

I don't know if they are still in business, but I had some small parts done by Armoloy in Fort Worth. Great service, great product, reasonable price. Armoloy is a molecular hard chrome that actually penetrates the metal surface, leaving a stainless steel appearing surface that is very slick and very hard with little or no surface accretion. 0 -
