Got Wii?

Just wondering, how many think people are paying too much for the Wii right now. I mean wait a few months and you will find it in every store you go to. Wal-Mart has them online for $600. Why do people do this? Pay exorbitant prices just to get the latest great new item for Christmas? It's nuts. Learn a little patience and get it later. Johnny is not going to die if he gets his Wii in a year or two, Jenny will not suffer if she misses out on a Wii for Christmas.

    Wii got one about a month and a half ago. It's very cool and a lot of fun. A friend got one the same day we did. He sold if for $200 more than he paid.

    online stores like Game Stop/EB Games and Walmart and any major retailer are just selling bundles, meaning you get more for the money, but it may just equal 1 game extra that your getting, so for me it wouldn't be worth that extra game. But this is my personal opinion, they know they'll sell out and create a demand for them all stores do it and so does the manufacturer

    Just keeping up with the Joneses, that's why! I won't have one, don't want one. I've never had a Nintendo, Gameboy, PSP, Xbox, GameCube or any other of those fancy techie toys, and I'm only 29. Every kid I know has one and lotsa kids I knew when I was younger had them too. I didn't miss out on anything.

    I got one with an extra controler and an extra game for $200!

    My kids now have (or will have come christmas morning) Game cube, Xbox, and Wii! With a ton of games!

    I have a GameCube, Gameboy advance, brother has a Gameboy advance DS I use.. PS2, PS1.

    I think we got ours last year for $250, it is a fun game system. I like it better than ninetendo or any of the others.

    I have a PS2 I got for $50 and a super nintendo. I refuse to pay the rediculous prices. My kids and I will wait.

    I got a PS3 to play BlueRays on and for mt nephews to play some games on it. But now that I had it for a while, it is pretty neat what all one can do with it.

    Two years ago, I bought an Atari 2600, 43 games, 8 controllers, 13 joystick rebuild kits for $35 on fleabay.
