What does your computer station look like?
Simple? Complicated? Neat? Cluttered?
I was playing with the camera I bought myself for Christmas and took a shot of my computer desk. It wasn't until I looked at the photo that I realized that where I work doesn't really reflect my personality. It's very Spartan and bare. Simple and devoid of decoration (save for the small toy pig wearing a t-shirt from my alma mater on the shelf). I am generally not this neat and organized and the other places where I spend time have lots of photos and other art on the walls. This austere desk really isn't "me" and I was wondering why I had created such an alien environment for my computer work? Or maybe I'm over-analyzing and it just doesn't matter.

Mine? Its nothing fancy, i dont like the view on those flat screens like you have, ive got my good ol compaq screen, printer, scanner, keyboard, and computer all on one table, with 2 layers on it (theres a top platform, bottom platform, and 2 shelves to the right of me.
theres a slide out thing for the keyboard but i dont like it
Simple is good enough for me!0 -
Heres my workstation. Ive got a dual monitor setup because I use graphic/3d programs a lot. Have my Lee press in case I feel like churning out a couple rounds.
Also, the view from my window (downtown Cincinnati).

Mine's pretty much a mess right now, but here's an old picture of it:
Yes, that is a 19" LCD flat screen monitor with a Gun Broker screen up. I was typing the last topic on this very subject.

Yea. Actually it don't look that bad now as I did clean up. But my computer area allways seems to be a catch all area and everytime I want to clean it up I get disgusted and leave it alone.0 -
