Good to hear. I know that you probably have heard it a million times, but just make sure you have enough to pay it off when you use it. I haven't experinced it, but credit card debt is not something you want to deal with.

Be very very careful. It's very easy to get carried away.

With electronic fund transfers, if you're buying something online, you can pay with your credit card, then go immediately to the credit card website and pay it off. That will put activity on your account, but keep you out of trouble.

CCE, i like that idea, im not going to use it immediately, maybe just use it for gas for a while, and pay it off every month.

Hey Suburban,........you will have mail in about 15 minutes!
    I just spoke to Wachovia.[8D]
After you get your card, just set up online access for it, so you can see all of your activity, even before you get your statement.
The checking account you have, has free online bill pay, so if it was me, I would NOT, give the CC company my banking info, and let them ACH funds, but that is just me.
You don't need to pay immediately, just before the due date.
    Congrats,......but watch yourself! It isn't FREE money![:D]

That's how they get ya, you top off your credit and they raise your limit because you are such a good customer.

Be careful. You have opened Pandora's box. Credit is a powerful tool but be sure not to live beyond your means.

BTW,......I have used Wachovia online bill pay to pay my credit cards for several years now, and have NEVER had a payment that did not post on the pay date that I entered.
Sometimes mine are "quite a bit" larger, than what yours will be!
I always enter the pay date, to be at least a few days before the due date.
That way you can log into your CC accounts, and be certain that they have received payment, and still have time to do something, should you ever experience a "snaffu".
Always keep a running balance in your head, or on paper, if need be, of what you have charged, so you don't run up a statement that you don't have the money to pay.[;)]

+1 They will keep raising your limit. Don't put more on the card than you can pay off in a month!
