I'm doing a simple stuffed baked chicken, baked tators. 0 -
Invited my friend over tonight for deer meat. Whats everyone else having? 0 -
Pheasant wrapped in bacon for me. I had a buddy at work tell me its delicious that way. So I tried it. Turned out pretty good. Darn things were still a little dry.

Went shed hunting this morning but had to get back home by noon to start the venison stew.
Yes indeed venison in the crock pot with yukon gold potatoes and carrots along with the usual venison stew seasonings packet with extra garlic and sidney seasonings.
This is a 6-1/2 quart crock with about 4+ quarts of stew.[:p]0 -
...Just got thru fixin fried pork chops, cream gravy, herb butter rice, and doctored up ranch style beans (love em), and garlic bread.
...And some fresh jalepenos on the side...mmmm good!
...course no one but me around for another two hours to help me eat it,...be plenty left...maybe [}:)]

I am going to grill up some Pork Spareribs tonight. Gunna get my dryrub ready here shortly and let them sit most of the day in it. And then smother them in my homemade BBQ sauce just before they are done on the grill![:D] 0 -
Deepfried Catfish nuggets
Brown Rice
Salad
Corn
Hush puppies
And Strawberry Short Cake for desert Here at our place![:D]0 -
Were having that Mamwich or whatever stuff, some veggies, baked beans, macaroni, chips, and some water / tea / coffee / soda... I dont like the mamwich but ill eat one.. But boy i like those beans [:D] 0 -
im cooking bar-b-que chicken and rice and corn
I raided the piggy bank and got butter almond Ice cream[:D][:D]
I have not had ice cream in sooo long I might have to have a bowl to practice first and then another one for the real "get it done"

Come on down! I got 2 full racks of ribs and my kids eat like birds most of the time (definatly not because I don't make enuff as I do not know how to cook in small portions).
I have not desided what I am fixing with the ribs yet but I got plenty of stuff here to put with em.[:D][:D][:D]0 -

Come on down! I got 2 full racks of ribs and my kids eat like birds most of the time (definatly not because I don't make enuff as I do not know how to cook in small portions).

Ribs are dryrubbed and I just finished my homemade BBQ Tequillia sauce.
Ribs will be slow cooked with lots of mesquite smoke.
In the 2 years since I moved to the south I have definatly learned how to BBQ![:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]0 -
Dinner with two really good friends at a nice Mexican restaurant. 0 -
Took about ten pounds of pulled pork to my troops at work last night. Some mustard bbq sauce and coleslaw for the top makes a good samich. A dozen crew chiefs went thru that pork like a pack of dogs. I'm off tonight, so it'll be steak or shrimp, or both[:D] 0 -
Mesquite grilled beef steak, baked potato, green beans and a loaf of fresh baked sourdough bread.[^] 0
