    i think it was locked down before he became a mod, there was plenty of talk about locking it before it got locked

    That is correct, I wasn't a moderator at the time of this thread's closure.

    I recall nunn announcing that it had gotten too large and cumbersome and would be closed.

    So I wasn't even able to do it, and nunn stated he would do it, and I still get blamed for it.
