Renewing with Sprint/Nextel over the web or phone

DON'T DO IT!
I have been haveing a total nightmare with renewing my contract and getting a new phone!
The contract part was easy enuff, but the first phone they sent me was defective as it would not do the web/data services that they advertised it would do! I fought and fought with them over this phone and finally said screw it and bought another on Monday.
Well I called today to make sure it would arrive today as I was promissed and they said the order never went through and that I had to but another phone!
I told them that was BS and that I would cancel my account and hire a lawyer first!
Well I finally got someone who sounded like they knew what she was doing (also the first that spoke english) and she gave me a big credit to my accout to where I will get free cell service for about 3 months and is getting me a new phone.
It may be working out but trust me, avoid the hassles and go into the stores to renew your contracts and stuff!

Well untill this last 2 weeks I have been happy with Nextel. I think the problem lies in from when they merged with Sprint!
Yes we can get better coverage now useing both sets of towers but they are just too big of a company now and are out of control in the satisfying the customer end of the deal!0 -
Here we go again!
I just checked the order status on the phone that they said would go out yesterday and would be here today and thier system says it is an invalid order!
I will be calling at 8am and if it did not go out I will be leaving Nextel for good!0
