My dad just shot a nice whitetail....PICS Added

11 pointer (5X6 for the westerners) with at least a 22" inside spread...real tall rack...over 200 lbs dressed. I've got it hanging in the shed. I'm going to cape it out for him to get it mounted...it's a really nice whitetail.

    OK, just curious. Here in Illinois it's illegal to hunt with a rifle and it's not shotgun season yet.

    I'm not sure what he'll end up scoring...and these pics don't really do the deer justice. I could not see the pics on the screen of my view finder until after they were taken...it was dark and the flash is all the light I had.

    When you get time let us know the score. After another look he could go 140s?

    A friend of mine dropped a 156" buck last sunday morning. I scored it for him and the rack had nice mass 19-20", 22-7/8" spread, 24" MBs but rather short tines.

    Just picked up a bunch of summer sausage and stix today from the local smokehouse.[:p]

    I threw a tape on him real quickly...looks like about a 22 1/8" inside spread. It has a nice tall rack. I'll check it out a little more in the day light...probably when I skin it and cut it up in a couple days.

    ECC here's the P&Y score sheets. You can print them out and keep one for the mount when friends ask about the score.

    Great deer! What a rack.

    The biggest deer I ever shot was about half that size. The body of the deer was about the same, but much smaller rack. Small Georgia deer.
