    Just for the record i did not coment on why the mods locked something. I just said they were a bit touchy today. And where is the love. I dont criticize over the internet. I think that is a cowardly thing to do. I am off to my doctors appointment so i will be back in 2 hours. Good luck handling the clowns today. [:)]

    Hey bro, I got the head reassembled and back on the engine. Now I have to go through and reshim all of the valves to bring them back into spec. The bike definitely won't be done by the 4th of July and probably not by the time you get out here.

    Can you get the 900's manual to me? #2 and #3 cylinders have one each burnt exhaust valves and I need to know how to undo the cam chains to get the head off.

    Maybe someone can enlighten me on this.
    I know the old "Zulu" guns are not worth
    much."Flaydermans" always has a little story
    about them being so plentiful that they have
    never built up any interest to collectors.I'm
    certainly not going to argue with such a respected
    source of information.But why is it that in about
    30 years of buying,selling & collecting,the only one
    I've ever seen (other than a couple on GB auction)is
    the one my Mom has stuck away?

    IT'S WHAT PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THEMSELVES THAT MAKES THEM AFRAID.
