I drove a 1976 F250 for a bit back around 2000. Wow, how that thing ever passed inspection for the two years I owned it I do not know. It was totally rusted out, no tailgate, it reeked of gas, tires were totally worn out and regrooved, and it had electric blue astroturf on the dash and for carpet. The first time the guy passed me out of what I can only think was pity, and they second time they said it would take $3000 of work to pass it. Considering I bought it for $1000 (and that was perhaps not my wisest financial move) I sold that thing to a farmer for $400.
Now I drive a 2003 F150 4X2. While I like it, it does attract too much attention. About once a month some sexy woman will come up to me, look me and the truck all over, and say, "Hey, Big Boy, can you come over to my house, come up to my bedroom, and help me move a massive dresser down three flights of stairs and then across town." Yeah, I get a lot of that.0 -

2004 GMC Sonoma 4X4 SLS Crew Cab (4 door). 58K miles, no probs (except push button 4WD). This is built off the Blazer/Jimmy chassis, not the usual S10/Sonoma chassis. Great truck. I love it.[:)]
Wife drives 2002 S-10 4X4 Extend Cab LS. Some issues here at 45K miles, including the push button 4wd. Good chance this is going to get traded for a 2007 GMC Sierra 4X4 Extend Cab.[8]0 -

here in ky all you see is mostly ford trucks, at every redlight you can count at least three on every side. mostly superduty diesel. I have a 99 f350 xlt crew cab long bed diesel 4x4 210,000 miles runs like new. I haul 17,000 pounds around all the time pulls it pretty good. cant go wrong with the 7.3 powerstroke 0 -
