SC laws question.
We are going to SC to visit the GF's family in a couple of days. I was thinking about bringing my P22 and suppressor with me. I see that on Gemtech's website suppressors are legal but I looked on the ATF site for SC and there is lots of info there about other NFA stuff but not a single word about suppressors.
Can anyone give me any help on this one. Also has anyone ever flown with NFA items and how does that work compared to flying with a pistol, I have done that.

Suppressors were legal here in SC long before they opened it up to machine guns. I do not own any and do not know if permission is required to transport interstate from BATFE. I would just leave it home and bring the pistol. Better yet, just leave everything home, come by the house and shoot my .22's. 0 -

Is that all you can offer is shooting .22's with all the toys you got?[:o)][;)][:D][}:)][:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)]
Select told you right! I would not risk it as I too do not know if you would need anything extra to transport it here.
But let me know what is going on and were you will be and we can get together for some shooting!
I can even drive down to select's place if needed![:D]0 -
Well we are going to be in Greenville for 2 weeks visiting the GF's family. On the airline web site it included suppressors in the info about pistols so I think that end is ok http://www.aa.com/aa/i18nForward.do?p=/travelInformation/baggage/firearms.jsp . I am just not sure on SC laws.
I know you are in SC, just dont remember where. May have to take a day trip if you are serious [:D].0 -
