I have been using Yahoo for years, very few complaints, I have a gmail account that Henry O sent me, I have not used it enough to comment yet.

Yahoo has served me well. Don't know anything about "live" though. 0 -
I can send you a gmail invite if you would like. 0 -
I primarily use Juno. It allows me to compose emails, etc. even if not online.[:)] 0 -
I use Bellsouth.net, my ISprovider. No problems. 0 -
earthlink.net
It is pretty fast. Good luck.

I use Yahoo. The only complaint is all the spam mail. 0 -
I host my own mail, it's the most reliable so far.
Yahoo's been okay, gmail is okay too. New yahoo UI, last I checked it was in beta, is pretty good.0 -

I have gmail and I like it alot. 0 -
I do have a verizon account as verizon DSL is our provider, but I have found that when using web sites such as gb, hatr, fsn, and then the game sites I belong to, its better to use a "web based" one, if you know what I mean....
I had yahoo for a long time, even yahoo chat, but yahoo changed their game site and I no longer belong to it...0 -
I have Qwest for dsl and msn for my isp, which has hot mail.I've noticed no change. I think the modem from Qwest is weak, and msn is no winner. 0 -
FOR GODS SAKE STAY AWAY FROM EARTHLINK. I damn near had a heart attack over those idiots. Went three weeks trying to get email and couldn't understand a damn thing they were saying! They wouldn't even shut it off! RUN GIRL! RUN AWAY FROM THEM! I have embarq and they are dang near as bad. Thinking seriously of going back to 56K. 0 -

Absolutely go with gmail. Virtually no limit, they encourage you to store your email forever and even provide for you to 'archive' it, plus you even get free POP access. All for FREE!! It's a great deal and a great service.0 -
I've had Yahoo for several years and have had no complaints until recently. It has suddenly slowed down considerably. Maybe needs larger servers? 0 -

Or less spam, one of the two!0 -
Dont go for Gmail unless u want all your private correspondence to be ehhh collected and categorised by the """BIG""""" guys in the sandbox.
Anyhow...Yahoo seemes to work just fine i think.0 -
I still use hotmail with no problems, the wife uses yahoo. 0 -
+1 Gmail is your ticket! Someone needs to send you an invite. 0 -

I use gunbrokers zapzone e-mail. There is a free version, and I think I pay about $15 a year to avoid the ads, and have more storage. That is the one I use here and for all on-line purchases. It works just fine. 0 -
Run my own server, with multiple domains.
However, for your average person, you need 2 or 3 accounts. One for friends/family *only*, as well as a couple more for registering on forums, etc. where you may end up getting spam, etc.0 -

And you honestly think that Yahoo is any different in that respect? I hope you are not so naive to think that any e-mail is private. If you have any need for privacy, use PGP. Otherwise, privacy is a joke and no one is better than any other.0 -
