Found a new elk spot...
I found this little gem on Saturday. Not man made, right on the edge of a steep canyon, only water within 2.5 miles, and best of all it does not appear on a map. It looks like it had at least 3 bulls in it on Saturday morning. I got here at about 10:30.

Lots of good hunting around Craig. I've never hunted there so I can't provide specifics. Some chronic wasting in that area I think so be sure to handle the meat properly and have it tested.
Most como patterns are overrated, but stay away from patterns with lots of green. I prefer patterns that are "open". Other that that just get whats on sale.0 -

Every where around Craig is good Elk hunting. The Elk are very thick around Craig. Just head for the hills or find a farmer to let you hunt. 0 -
