At the gun show, guy was walking around with a colt pocket model ...needed grips....was talking to him and told him we can get the grips for him...he was appreciative and gave me his phone number and name....put it into my jeans pocket...
Well where the he** is it now???????
might be in my purse..but it sure aint in my jeans....(washing today, so I cleaned out the pockets) Now this guy is going to be waiting for our call and I cant find the number....

And yes I have already told Classic to do it, and believe me I have done it myself many times already...
I have been having wicked headaches, usually starting at work but continuing to get worse at home....I noticed they usually stopped after I was ready for bed...
This was going on for 2 weeks or so and then I remembered what my glasses did....The metal part across the nose gave me horrid headaches, ...(I am highly allergic to metals, to the point where I need plastic fillings in my teeth instead of metal)and I used my glasses at work to give injections or cut nails etc...close up work
The metal part across the bridge of my nose was the cause of headaches until I bought plastic ones, and this time???????
Metal barrette I used to pull back my bangs....I wore it at work and the headaches started...I didnt associate it with being metal until I remembed the glasses...Barrette gone and now, no headaches for a week...
I HATE BEING ALLERGIC TO METAL..
The point of this post you might ask??...
I do know a couple of guys have mentioned their wives having the same allergy, so if your wife complains of headaches, check her glasses, her hair barrettes, pins etc....
and back aches?...check her bra hooks....they cause a horrid weeping rash if I dont have the material covering the hooks at all times...blue jean fasteners, etc...
So tell her to check her clothes etc, it could be the cause of the pain...0 -
I have never before heard of anyone being so sensitive to metal. That must suck. All metals including brass and copper? 0 -

i did once know guy whose body chemistry was so high that he can't wear a watch for more that a couple of weeks. his sweat will eat the metal and it doesn't matter what kind of metal either. i bought him a watch for christmas one year, he wore it every day except to bed. then about 6 weeks later, as we're standing there at work, it just falls off. the link pin for the lowwer part of the band had rusted away and the back had started to rust around the edges. it wasn't a cheapo watch, unless you count timex as cheap.0 -
I know someone with the same problem. Rings, watches, necklaces-all off limits if it is metal against the skin. 0 -
I am allergic to most metals...I could not wear gold until they took the nickel out of it, and that was in 98 I believe when I statted wearing gold...even my wedding rings could only be worn for a few hours before they had to come off...
Sucks?..oh yea big time,....I can wear gold now and that is about it, BUT if the gold has any other metals in it that I am sensitive to, then I am in extreme pain or have a raw oozing rash...
Even surgical steel....the drs didnt believe me on my last surgery to use sutures, not staples....they learned on the 2nd post op day....
So guys theres something else...If you wife needs surgery, tell them to use sutures, dont staple....COuld end up with a major infection..0 -
My wife has pretty much the same problem.Can wear gold,but no base metals of any kind or she will break out something terrible.Belt buckles and the snaps on blue jeans give her a bad time. 0 -

Wow, never heard of that. I know that is a pain to deal with.
A little different, but I knew an officer that had to carry a stainless handgun. His hands sweat real bad, and if he touched a blued gun, it would rust in a few hours. Haven't seen anyone else with caustic sweat, at least not that bad.0 -

My daughter is that way. Necklaces or bracelets cause her to break out. Hair clips and barrettes don't seem to bother her though. It seems like it has to be skin-to-metal contact. 0 -
my wife deals with the metal issue. especially jewelery the button on pants. usually just an itch rash. coulf explain some headaches, never though of that. she always gets a head ache when in a fancy weding or somthing when she does her hair up with funky things 0 -

Tell your wife to switch to plastic pins and plastic accessories for her hair...If she doesnt get a headache after she stops using ALL metal in her hair, then she will know the cause...If she still gets headaches then it could be the tension or pull on her hair from having it up....0 -
how do you eat or handle firearms they are metal?i have not heard of anyone that bad. my wife can't wear earings made of gold or silver has to be stainless 0 -

sometimes women have issues with their iron intake, usually a deficiency. I wonder if your allergy to metals has something to do with too much or too little iron in your system. or something else wrong with the bodily mechanism that would otherwise simply make you iron deficient. 0 -

Its not an "instant" thing...I have to have contact (skin) contact for about 2 hours for the itchy rash to start....as for the nose piece on my glasses and the barette, it was about 2 or 3 hours...

I dont think its exclusive to women...its just that it affects almost everything we have contact with every day ...like a bra and jewellry, so yeppers you will hear about it more..

I dont think its anything to do with iron def...When I was preg with my daughter I was put on vitamins and iron pills....I developed a red itchy rash all over my body(head to toe) and it was about 3 weeks of trial and error to find out what was causing it....My iron was not low it was just something that was done back then...
All I know is what I went thru, I would not wish on my worst enemy...it was 3 weeks of pure hell for myself and husband...Calamine lotion and oatmeal did nothing to relieve it...0
