Ever Hear Of A Charter Arms AR-15?

A friend called me and asked if they were any good, because he has a chance to buy a used one. I never heard of one, and can't find any information.

Your friend's math is bad AR15-8= AR7!
It was a takedown .22 lr survival rifle, now made by Henry Arms.

Someone may be looking at CAI somewhere on the gun and thinks that stands for Charter Arms.....it has happened before.

I believe you may be right. I can't find where Charter Arms ever made an AR-15.
