M203 from Colt???
I am wondering if it is possible to purchase one of these flare lanucher directly from Colt and have it sent to my FFL. Does anybody have any insight on how to do this or do I need to go through a distributor?

An M203? As in the 40mm grenade launcher? Didn't know we could buy them. 0 -
If you are looking for the 37mm, those can be shipped straight to you from whoever sells them. If you are looking for a 40mm, they are DD's (Destructive Devices) and must go through all the NFA hoops.
Just a warning, if you get a 37mm, and have any shells for it that can be used against people, including the inserts for a 12 ga., it is then also a DD.
I'm not aware of Colt making any 37mm launchers though.0 -
Colt does not make 37mm as far as I am aware. They do make 40mm and you can buy them but like it was said they are NFA items. Colt M203's seem to run about $4000 thought. LMT makes a really nice M203 and they run about $1500. If you are looking for the 37mm they can be had for about $400 still I think and there are a few makers out there.
