Take my survey, please!
My current class project involves conducting surveys to hunters. Yes, the topic has been APPROVED (much to my surprise).
We're trying to discover how hunters learned to hunt, and if they were taught as kids or adults, and if they've passed along the love of hunting to kids (either their own or someone else's).
Even if you have not passed along the traditions of hunting, we are STILL interested in your opinions.
I'm looking for as many people as possible that want to participate. I need to only conduct ten surveys, but I must also randomly choose ten people from a larger group to take the survey. So, there is a chance that you will NOT be chosen to take the survey despite volunteering for it.
What I need from you is:
1. A valid e-mail address that you check regularly
2. You must be an "active" hunter. By "active" I mean that you've hunted at least once in the last year, and you typically hunt at least once a year on average.
3. A committment to take this e-mail survey. It might take you ten minutes if you opened it up, went to the bathroom, had a snack and then answered all the questions. It is SHORT and SWEET.
4. You must have Microsoft Word or a compatible program.
5. You must be able to download the survey, complete it, and return it to me in the same week. Again, this is a VERY SHORT survey.
What I can promise you:
1. You will be given total anonymity. You will be assigned a number, and there will be no way to identify who you are from the survey results or the data that is being input.
2. Your answers will be completely confidential. At no time will I share any of the information collected with anyone besides my professor and my two teammates. They have sworn the same confidentiality. This survey will NOT be published nor will any of the data be available for ANYONE to see on the 'Net, etc.
3. After this class, your surveys will be destroyed. They will be erased from my hard drive, the paper copies will be shredded.
Please e-mail me at poseidon33@msn.com if you are interested. I have a few names of people at GB already, but I desperately need more.
Thank you,
Jeff/spanielsells
