    Suuuweeeet! I love it. Never jumped out of a perfectly good aircraft, but I do miss my days in the Army and wish I could go back.

    sarge--I heard the same thing from vets over and over again throughout the years. I only met one person that had been out of the Army for 5 years or more that was glad they got out. That's the main reason why I went indefinite when I had the chance.

    Well here is another (plus a lot of my WW 2 friends) that had enough of war. Yeah, I served in several campaigns as a Infantry Rifleman in
    WW 2 as did some friends. We had enough of war to last us. Sorry guy.
    We were "citizen soldiers", only in to fight a war that we won. My Infantry Div. had over 28, 000 combat casualties with about 4,000 KIA.
    Enough was enough for most of us. This was from a usual Div strenght
    of about 13,000 men. We had no G.I. bill on joining up, no reinlistment bonuses, our only terms was being in for the duration war plus 6 months.
    So just call us what you may. We were damn glad to get out and stay out. Maybe things are different now a days.
