Advising someone to "get some" with their wife happens to be VERY sound and VERY Biblical advice. You insinuated that this was not very "Christian like" advice in another post...you could not be more mistaken. God Himself tells us to do the exact same thing in His Word...and to do it often. I'm not sure if you read the rest of the thread, but the original poster, claims to have done just that. 0 -

Irony: Saying "True Catholics are not Christians" and Mother Teresa is "sadly lost" on one thread while advising another GB member to bone his soon-to-be ex-wife one last time so she'll have "something to remember" on another thread...
Neither post is remarkable by GB standards, but when placed together are high comedy as far as I'm concerned
Somehow, no matter how hard I try, I can't imagine Jesus saying to a husband grieving over a broken marriage "Make sure you tap that ass one last time before she leaves, my son".
While it is reasonable to say that biblical teaching encourages sex between a husband and wife as part of a loving marriage, I think you'll have trouble finding a passage that promotes sex for the sole purpose of proving a point.
If you do find one please post the passage and I'll retract everything I've said and apologize.
For the record, I find it hilarious that you waited until the original thread was deleted before calling me out in a seperate one....0 -
I think maybe we should avoid religious discussions. Seems like they always degenerate into brawls.
I'm sorry, but I think it would be best to let this one end here.0 -
Actually, this was posted before the original was deleted or locked. I don't think it was deleted...you can probably find it in a search.
SP...religious discussions have always been part of the general discussion forum on GB and probably always will be. I'll leave the topic locked b/c it does appear as if it will degenerate from here...0
