Traded one for a Stevens 311a .410 unfired, made in 1964. Always my favorite pumper though. Put 5 slugs in the head of the Colt combat silhouette on the range once during qualification with my 37. The range master looked at it and then at me and I said, "My guy was wearing a vest", he just shook his head and walked away. Only 100 score on the shotgun range that day. 0 -

I had a model 37. really great gun! I tried to sell it awhile back and no one would give me over $100 for it. My mom was over one day and was looking in my gun case and mentioned she would like a gun for her apt. (She just moved from Chicago where gun owners are looked on as outlaws) I told her I could order her a small handgun but get this. She said she wanted a shotgun! Now momma is 5 feet 2 inches tall and is 71 years old and i just laughed. But I opened the gun case and handed her that model 37. It is a good gun and before I'd sell it for nothing I just gave it to her. 0 -
Some gunsmith chopped it for the guy I got it from. recrowned the muzzle and put the sight back on.. good job... [8D] 0
