help finding parts 256 winchester mag/ marlin 62
i hope this is the right [?]place to post this if not sorry my friend has inherited a 256 winchester from late father he is just a kid any way i have not seen gun yet but he says that it say 256 winchester magnum but my books say is a marlin 62 any way i am doing this repair on a freebie ya know boy lost his dad an the gun is his inheritance its missing firing pin an has no ammo i think i found a posibble lead on ammo but nothin on fring pin any help or advice would be appreciated i am covering all cost on this qwest so any parts ya may have for this gun would be greatly appreciated i would like to get a lot of extras for him so if it breaks in his future he will have them for his kids an grand kids etc they are this hard to find now may be impossible in another 30 years any way any an all help is appreciated thanx[:)] fred davenport dtek arms po box 2663 winston oregon home phone is 541 679 3434 email gunskool@gmail.com thanx again Mr D

dtek,..here is a link for loaded ammo sources, I recently was looking for an older gentleman from Ohio for his Marlin 62,..good luck on the parts..check with numrich or brownells..Loko

i used your link on ammo thanx thats cool as for pin e guns doesnt have one i will look at brownells thaanx fred0 -
Numerich has the firing pin for the Marlin 62..
