...I forget which one it is [:0] The NIB Commander? The B Nik Series 70? or the McCormick Factory Racer? The last 3 Ive got, I think...don't laugh, if you live long enough you'll get old too and forgetfull...[8D]

..Looking to buy some Series 70 checkered (no dbl diamond) light walnut grips for the B Nik...as I never could get a definitive answer if the Pearl Jay Scott grips could have been an option for it when it was bought new in 72. Geez, their THICK!

..I asked Charles Spresser if he had some of the short slotted screws I could buy so I could put the Ivory grips he made me on it; and keep it "original" w/the slotted screws..but he only has the hex head which I put on most all 1911's I have. I have the bushing change tool, and bushings, but I HATE to change gripbushings!! So, going to get some of those short screws in SS and he's going to polish the head's of 'em up for me, great grip maker and a "good guy" too.

I did take a pair of Coco Bolo Dbl diamond grips and inlay a set of my Silver Colt meds in them yesterday...look good on the it!...and their not 2" thick like those Jay Scott grips, cripes, you'd need big honkin' hands for those to feel good.
...time for a Dr Pepper now...[:D]

funny, the approval rating is at 11%. they want to cut thier work week to 4 days.
do you think the democrats are going to keep the lead, I dont think so. The American people are tired of the war, but the war is not the only thing that drives washington.
I too wish we could end this war, but to thrown in the towel, would mean out troops that died would have died in vain.

I just hope the armericans are smarter than they appear.
