Went out for dinner last nite and of course engaged in one of my favorite pastimes---watching ppl...
Over the last few years I have noticed something, and last nite was no different...A lot of men take huge bites of food, big enough to choke a horse in all honesty...Some women do take large bites of food but its seems a whole lot more men do it...
You will see them shove almost half a sandwich in their mouth, or half of a slice of pizza and a hot dog???? 2 bites and its gone....a hamburger is damn lucky if it gets three bites out of it, so the question is why?..
Why do a lot of men take such huge bites?

When at work I have little time to eat so when I do it is fast and normal cold by the time I get to it. I think that my eating habits stem alot from that. 0 -
I also do not understand it, I enjoy the taste of food so I take small bites to savor it for a while. 0 -
Man never knows when a bigger male will come along and snatch the food right out of your hand...or a Hyenea will dart by and get it.
Or another male will come by and try to steal your woman..and one would be forced to raise and smite the intruder. The kids will get the food you didn't eat, in the meantime...0 -
I am guilty of being addicted to food and eat fast 'cause I flat out cannot help it...I also eat so fast that I am usually overfull before I know it and am miserable after meals!

Well as for me it is a habbit that the Army drilled into me durring Basic Training!
You only had so long to eat and get back out into formation, so you scarfed it down and headed out!0 -

I have worked in many places with 1/2 hour lunches and others with 1 hour lunch...didnt seem to have made much diff....Also worked in the paper mill before I got married....no diff...0 -
To me ,eating is such a waste of time. There are so many things that i could be doing,besides eating. 0 -
Agreed...I can walk by any type of food and not even bat an eye, but I cannot walk by a bottle or glass of water... 0
