Counters for the auctions

Is there a way to put a counter on an auction here at GB?

  Or if you want to know numbers but don't necessarily want them public host your own images on a server you can get logs for...
  
  When there is something I want to track I serve up a 1x1 image via a script that counts, etc. and logs to a database.
