Good-natured jokes are OK. The problem is that some people get really nasty when they don't get their way and blow up over minor things like having a thread moved or locked. I wish that I had so few problems in my life that I could get excited over something so trivial.
I move overtly political threads from GD to Pols and some complain and others cheer. Oh, well...
I can't actually recall the last time I deleted something. Been a while. Usually what happens is that someone gripes about me, I respond and tell them to grow up, and when I check back later the thread is gone. No idea what was said about me after my reply but I can imagine.
What can be said about me that hasn't been written on a thousand restroom walls?

The other side is, it is a fun game to see how far you can push it before getting poofed.
What is the challenge to post something like Miss Piggy with a warerobe malfunction? It's funny, but it is going to get poofed sooner or later. It's going to happen the only question is when.
It's more of a challenge to see how long is the moderators patience.
My favorite was the one by Zulu. Thread was titled "Nunn:"
