The Sopranos, Lots of Whacking
I guess some of you guys watch the Sopranos, the series about the Mafia in New Jersey. It has been on about 9 years I think. It has become hugely popular. At first I didn't watch it, but I did about 4 years ago. It is sort of addicting.
Now it is down to the final episode with tensions running high as the rival mobs are trying to kill each other off. I think Tony will survive in case they change their mind about making some more episodes. Any other Sopranos watchers want to weigh in?

My beef with sopranos: They've spent mucho time developing many sub-plots that they will not finish.
I still can't wait for Sunday though.

Bobby dead, and tonys right hand man in a coma, i think he will survive, but i hope phil leotardo gets it with that fully automatic AR-10 tony is sleeping with. I hate that guy, he only became boss because the other boss died, he was never NAMED boss. 0 -

I just started watching reruns on A&E about a year ago. Is there any one season thats better than another? 0 -
there all about the same IMO, there are some boring shows and some good ones, you kinda of have to watch all of them to understand things, like deals that have been made that require allegiance to certain people even though they dont like them. 0 -
Tony's hot love interests, the 24 year old Russian chick, or the hot Italian Mercedes car saleswoman. I like the early episodes with Tony's Mother, did you hear Junior sing he has a real Italian tenor voice. How about the one where Tony's nephew and another mobster gets lost in the woods in winter, or where big p_ _sy gets whacked, how about the un-real nude gals at the Tony's topless club. 0 -

I hope Phil gets whacked too. That is a hell of a gun Tony has. I think tony lives, just in case they want to make a few more episodes someday.
The last thing they did was order a pizza from the safe house. Wonder if the pizza guy might be somebody from Phil's gang? [xx(]0 -

I've regained my composure now.
I can't imagine why I busted out laughing when a man got shot in the head (Phil). Then he got ran over by the car and I laughed some more.
A terrible ending, but I doubt that was the end. Many loose ends.
That show is making millions, so I really doubt that the people involved would rather not make any more millions.0 -

As I'm learning the business, I can tell you that HBO doesn't work that way. Like Paramount Network Television, and their Star Trek (Series) ... when they end a series, they contractually make sure it cannot be resurrected or sold again. Sorry folks - it's dead/gone/hasta la vista, baby and DONE! Eight seasons - KAPUT!
Have you noticed all the new series they are introducing this season? ... and therein lies
their cash cow(s).
