Dinner is started !
A couple weeks ago I asked for Chili Colorado recipes.
Well I got it simmering in the crock pot right now. It will simmer all day blending all those flavors together!

Just got my big pot of beans and smoked pork started. Beans soaked all night. Threw it all in the crockpot to cook all day.
I will be serveing it up with homemade cornbread.0 -

I probly got more than we will eat!
My dad is comming over but I don't know that the kids will eat this as it may be a bit warm for them and they have never been to keen on this type of food. So I got frozen pizza's for them if they won't eat it.0 -

It is completly different.
You use chunks of steak and simmer it in a red mexican style sauce. It is more like an enchilada sauce (but not quite the same) than like the sauce from chili.
Also you NEVER put beans in it.
You serve it on a plate with refried beans and rice and tortias.
It is really very good. Next time you go to a mexican resturaunt give it a try.0
