Colt Trooper MK III .357 Magnum CTG

my first time on this site, so hopefully this is the correct forum.

This pistol also has Elk Horn grips, in excellent condition.

Purchased from deputy sheriff in Plainview Texas about 25 to 30 yrs ago. He went to work for the electric company at which time he sold the pistol.

  Is the Trooper a 4 inch or 6 inch model? Is it Blued or Nickel? What condition is the gun in? This will help determin the cost of the hand gun. My 2 cents [8D]
