Anyone seen surplus 308 ammo lately?
Someone asked me to find 308 ammo for him. I haven't even tried to get any in so long....I figured I would see if you guys know of any deals. Century is the last place I got any. We had 20 cases at $135 per 1000 rounds and only ran out about two months ago. Anybody got an idea of where to start....before the phone calls start?

Well I guess you have been out of the loop on this one. Had you posted that you had case lots of .308 for $135 they would have been gone in about 5 mins months ago.
There is basicaly no surplus .308 out there and what there is goes for over $0.40/rd. Yes that is right over $400/1000 for cheep surplus. SA battle packs went from $20-25 each to $55-70+ in the last few months. Yes $70+ for 140rd packs of SA. [V][V][V]

i was just looking at on the auction side, 100 rounds for 64+ dollars! thats insane! i will be needing some 9x18 soon. 0 -
A couple weeks ago I got 400rds of Malaysian,linked with tracers every 5 rounds in cans for $140.00+ $18.00 shipping.Looks like decent stuff.

Just got some privipartisan (sp?) from wideners, $90 for 200 rounds, shipping to me in N Fla. was $9... so about what Winchester white box retailed for a year and a half ago....
Might want to check out georgia-arms.com their "canned heat" is supposed to be good, $210 for 500 rounds, 10% discount if you order a lot (10+ cases) at once for "dealers"...0
