Naw, I like my squirrels running around out here. I keep them in corn and peanuts as much as possible. A couple of them are allmost to the point of eating out of my hand and probly will be within a month or so.

Shoot the squirrel - it's practising animal cruelty!

I enjoy feeding them as well, but thats something that has disappeared around here? There has been plenty of acorns and hickory nuts, but something has just wiped them out. I dont know what has happened to them all.

I actually started saying it back in the late 70's. But when it became well known about 6 or 7 years ago (thanks to Larry) I desided to use it as a handle.

Before that I used Yellow Fever on the CB as my handle, but was allways telling people to GIT-R-DONE over the CB.

I got plenty of them running around out here (better than 50). But only a couple of them will come near me as they have figured out were all this good food comes from. When they see me comming with the bucket they come jumping out of the trees to get thier meal.

I only put food out for them about twice a week as I want them to eat the acrons and such that are around too.

I get a great deal of pleasure watching the critters around my place. Here they are "pets" - across the street they are game or varmints.

Having them around is why I shoot preditory, feral cats.

If you try to feed them out of hand-make sure they don't go for your nuts![:D]

I have shot many of those around here! My high powered pellet gun is allways loaded with the pointed hunting rounds for any stray cats.

They drop quick with a single head shot![:D]
