Got a new Honda Foreman
My wife bought me a new Honda Foreman. She said she was getting tired of saving up resources that were just going to be left to the kids, and she thought we ought to start enjoying a couple of bucks worth now and then.
I don't know, I've never liked spending money on a toy that really didn't add much to what we were trying to accomplish, but the shy side of six grand really is not much money, unless you're as tight on you're spending patterns as I am.
She reminded me that I had bought her a ring that was considerably over twice that amount, so it was about time I got something for me.
I think I'm pretty glad I married her.
161 IQ, works her butt off, is nearly as good on investments as I am, and is far better looking than Ali McGraw (you haven't seen her picture). If I'm lucky, she'll stick around. You don't "keep" one like that; she decides whether I'm worth staying with. We've been married thirty five years now, but I still keep my fingers crossed that things will work out.

cool, mine gave me an evil glare when i mentioned something about getting me an Arctic Cat Firecat snowmobile[:D] anyways life to short to not have some fun can't take it with you anyways....my motto........... is work hard play hard......mostly all i get done is work hard though[:D] 0 -
Son #1 has the same IQ and was near impossible to live with, always a mile ahead of us.
He's 41, single, retired and tight as a drum except he treats himself to A8s and Benz AMGs and travels to crazy places.
He talked us into bumping up a notch on our last car, using the same reasoning.
We're good friends now but I've never asked him for money.0 -

I got the 500 with electronic shift. It's exactly what I wanted for around the farm and I don't have any need for anything bigger, and I sure don't need any more speed.[:)]0 -
