Blowing in the wind
I live right on Puget Sound, as in throw a rock and make a splash. Most of the time I am protected from the wind which usually comes in from the south southwest, but not tonight. It is blowing from the south at about 40 mph with gusts to 60 and hitting my place broadside. Forecast says it will drop off by 1am. Hope they are right.

I have really fond memories of the Puget Sound. I was able to enjoy it several times when my ship was in drydock in Bremerton. I expecially loved the fishing, both out in the boat for snapper and casting from shore for sand bass using little shrimp we could find under the rocks on shore. I caught fish until I could hardly stand up anymore![:D] Turned most of the sandies loose. You can bet I didn't throw any red snappers back, though. That's got to be the best eating ocean fish I've ever had. 0 -
Yeah, we got the wind pretty hard last night up here in Skagit County. Didn't die down until 3am. I have 7 big cedar trees around my house, the biggest about 5 feet in diameter and 100 feet tall, and I cringe whenever we get high winds. 0 -
