Lest We Forget/ Tobacco/ Guns
Let's see: 1700's, colonies, exporting tobacco from the only place it grew at the time. Fortunately, WE made enough money from that exportation to finance our revolution and free US from tyranny. Just the facts. But, do not let the facts detract from a good story.
And, what is that other little meddlesome problem? Oh, right; guns. What a tragedy. Tobacco and Guns = The freedom we enjoy today. Where is OUR historical perspective? Why aren't we dancing with who brung us?
Now, after two centuries of freedom ( and becoming the biggest boys on the block ) due to those things, they are now considered to be the worst things on the planet. Here, especially, and also world wide.I wonder "WHY?". Don't you? Or, have you succumbed to one of the smokescreens? Just my personal rant.
