Mmmm....peppers
Just picked a crapload of Jalapeno's.
Slit them in half and stuck em on the dehydrator.
I'll be drying a ton of hot peppers(Jalapeno's, Habenero's, Cayenne's) and making dried hot peppers.

Remember! You owe me some of that great hot sauce![;)][:D][:o)] 0 -
Used to eat them by the handfull,........enjoy Cubs, when you get older, the stomach will change, and you have to pay a mighty price to eat them![8D] 0 -
I already have acid reflux. But spicy stuff doesn't set it off. I used to eat raw Jalapeno's every day. I love spicy stuff. Acidic foods set it off now, makes me miserable for a good 8 hours at least.
Kevin....we'll see how the Cayennes do this year. Last year, 2 plants gave me more peppers than I knew what to do with. They were about 3' in diameter bushes. This year they are barely 8" off the ground, not doing to well.
I'll get you some of my green sauce though. I'll have a TON of it, looks like.0 -
Sounds great. Never tried them dehydrated, though. Still keep there hotness? 0 -
I think most of the "hotness" comes from the seeds, but I don't claim to be an expert.
Cubs,.....you're lucky, acidic, and hot, sets mine off. Although sometimes it doesn't bother me at all.
Seems to have to do with the condition of your stomach at the time,......the "exit" part, I believe, is the same for all![}:)]0 -
Come on Ice Cream love them but next morning ICE CREAM for me[:D][}:)][:(!][^] 0 -
Thanks to decon's advice, my red Savina's are exploding this year! 0 -
Chili pequenos, Chili pasillas, Habaneros, and Sorrenos. Any surplus habaneros and sorrenos get ground up, and become deer repellent for my fruit trees. 0
