smaller denominations pay out less than higher, for example pennies may pay out 85% while nickels pay out 95%. In my experience, your friends system is certainly not foolproof. Do not sit there and keep feeding a cold machine. Also remember that the slots are where casinos rack up the majority of money.

that being said, i love the slots. ive had my best luck with 5 reel video bonus slots. if you can find the new top gun machine play it! it an awesome ride.

The casinos have a saying for gamblers that have a "Fool proof" way of winning or those that say they have a system.... "Welcome" casinos weren't built on winners, I lived 15 years in Sin City.

yep, decide how much your going to donate before you go, i figure that a night on the town for me and the wife is around 150-200 bucks, so we can go to the boats and get drinks for a buck apiece instead of 3-5 bucks, so we don't exactly break even but still have fun, and have the potential to win but don't expect it

Yep, Stand out front and just look at that casino. Now open your wallet and look in there. Now, who has all the money?

saint louis area, although they are migrating to land now, when they first got here the law was they had to be offshore, they actually cruised at first, and you couldn't gamble until they did, then they stopped cruising, now they are building them on land next to the boat, that big money does wonders for the political process

If I go to the casino any more - I open the front door and throw a $20.00 in and walk away[:p][:p]

I walk away with $100.00 to $150.00 but not a big gambler. Too cheap, and won't throw more than $20.00 in a slot without winning.
Last week came back from the Mountianeer $150.00 ahead. Sure can't get rich but it's a fun night out. Wife loves to gamble.

I sometimes play dollar slots on cruise ships.

Start out with $20.00, and play untill I win or lose, which usually doesn't take long!

However, one machine kept giving me small wins. Finally, I won $90.00 plus the small wins -- walked away with $160.00.

Played it the next day - lost my $20.00 in 20 pulls!

I walked out of the casino in El Reno with 700 the first time I went. I did exactly what your buddy did. I put my 60 in the dollar slot bet x5 and pulled. I won, cashed out, bought a steak dinner and a couple beers and they went to the blackjack table.

Now Riverwind down in Norman that is a completely different story. It kicks my butt.

I only go in with a hundred bucks ever time, I sit at a dollar slot and pull till I'm broke or or until I have two hundred dollars at which that time I go to the blackjack table.

I am anxious to get down to Remington Park at the horse track.

I use to work in a casino. The penny, nickel, quarter and half dollars are the casino's bread and butter. The $1 slots start paying back, $5 and so forth. You'll still end up broke in the long run. Play blackjack!

They ain't boats. If that's a boat, let me see it go somewhere. It's nothing but a damn lie rule beater.

Every time I go back (Reno or Vegas) they (the casinos) are still there. The odds are in their favor.

There is only one way to consistently win in a casino. Own one.
