  I posted this months back.
  
  That prototype in the video had the prop running, but what was actually patented was a clutch drive mechanism to the wheels. The prop disengages and the power is transfered to the wheels, the prop will not be spinning when driving around.
  
  You still need a pilots licence, you need to assemble it yourself from a kit to be able to register is as a homebuild motorcycle and make it street legal, in addition to getting around alot of costly FAA regulations.
  
  If the stupid masses all had one, it would be chaos in the skys.
  
  Fortunatly the masses are not just stupid, but lazy, so between the pilots licensce and motorcycle license required, and especially the "extensive assembly required", we won't have problems with swarms of these things crashing into each other like cars crash into each other on the ground.
