Is this a deal or should I pass?
Found a used one for $299. It is about 85%-90% well used but not abused. Parkerized with bayonet lug.
Is this a fair price or should I pass?
I posted this on the experts forum but so far no advice. I also checked the auction side and it looks like a pretty good deal to me. Then again this is me I'm talking about.[:D]

I can't believe that the 590s are going for that much. As far as I can tell there is no difference between them and the 500, other than the extended mag. 0 -
They are a little beefier but other than that there is no real difference except the mag tube and bayonet lug.
This is probably just an impulse to buy something that I really don't need. Just thought it would better for work than my Gradad's old model 600 that I fixed up (I'm probably too careful not to scratch it).0 -
when i bought my 500 brand new it was $280 but dont know too much about the 590 other than it was designed for LE and military with and extended mag. and accessories are somewhat more difficult to locate while the 870s and 500s have a wide assortment of accessories 0
