Worst I ever saw was a six-stitch cut I got trying to catch a falling box of plastic wrap (just let it fall...I knew that about knives) at a restaurant. I guess I've had it pretty good. 0 -
Well, after 23 years in Emergency Health care I couldn't even narrow it down to a few hundred finalists. Some EMS guys just sent me some rather graphic gory accident photos. First is a man who ran a motorcycle into the back of a semi doing 100+ mph. His head stuck into the back of the truck supporting his dangling body. Second series is a woman who drove a Porsche into a toll booth at high speed. Her head exploded on impact projecting her brains onto a sidewalk. Her head appears completely "evacuated" though you can make out the tongue if you try. Really graphic and nasty--click on link at your own risk! Was working at a brickyard many years ago and was watching a trucker using a cheater bar to sinch the chains on a dozer,he almost had it locked when he let go the bar flipped back open and took his whole lower jaw clean off.The guy just stood there in shock holding what was left of his face.
My brother is a corpsman/deepsea diver,when he was stationed on the USS America,they had a cold cat with an A6 prowler.All 4 ejected fine but the pilot caught the fallin seatpan from the co-pilot as he was ejecting and it took the back of his head off.My brother didnt realize it until he was in the water trying to lift the pilot up and his hand went into the guys head.The jammer lost both of his feet because he didnt tuck them in enough when he ejected.0 -

Three way tie: An Ironworker fell about seventy feet to land at my feet - all broken up, but still breathing..he died later..; A Longshoreman was run over with a Top-Handler, flattened and distorted, blood, eyeballs and guts squished out all over; A Longshoreman Foreman who was my friend, cut in half at the waist, by a container falling on him, as he was bent over a handrail. 0 -
