Boy....and I thought the paper reduction act would hold for at least a whole year's worth of changes!
We just got the packet of new sheets.....1st of next month the new sheets are to be used. Guess what this one focuses on......you guessed it if you said "crazy and harmful to yourself or others" section.

I still have piles of the three page white ones......the yellow ones and the OTHER yellow ones before that. I just stick them in a corner for when they quit making toilet paper. 0 -

Thing about it now where it ask if you have ever been judged a mental case or had treatment for mental illness, and you lie its a Felony. One more strike against the man who may have had counciling 10yrs ago. So if you have seen a shrink what do you say? 0 -
I would love to see the guy who writes this crap actually SEE the people filling out the forms....and then be able to tell the people at the end of filling it out "while I make this phone call I have to make you go ask that guy all the questions you want to.....cause' HE did this!"

So what if a person had been committed to a mental institution?
For instance I know a guy who twenty some years ago spent some time on the third floor of the local hospital after his father died.
This guy's pushing 50 now. Does he need to hire a lawyer and get a court's approval to buy a shotgun?0 -

Interesting, people are outraged when a law requires them to get the approval of a judge to have an abortion. They claim the right to have an abortion is a constitutional gaurenteed right, but they cannot tell us which amendment covers this "right". On the other side, the right to own a firearm is in the Constitution. It's in the Second Amendment, but the ATF is going to require these people to go before a judge just to buy a shotgun to go hunting.
You won't hear the sad case story on NBC of the guy who has bought shotguns over the past 30 years, but now the ATF says he's a risk to the public.0 -
