Im grateful, it seems many people feel they are entitled to things. My neighbors kids are being raised that you get whatever you want, they fill their house up with unused junk, then go buy more. They both work hard to buy there kids anything they want. It seems obvious to my wife and I, but they are oblivious.

    grateful, deserving, or entitled.

I hate people with a sense of entitlement.

I'm not grateful, because I've never been given anything, I've put more into life but got the least out of it than anyone I know, a lot has been taken from me, and finally, nobody cares.

I feel deserving because I've worked so hard to get where I am right now- which is nowhere, really; even after years and years and years of fruitless struggle I'm still ready to go at the drop of a hat, I'll take on any challenge just as fresh as when I started out 20 years ago; I have worked for and am worth something. I'm deserving, but the answer has always been "no" every step of the way. put anybody else in my shoes, and they'd be a millionaire already.

I am also grateful, regardless of the fact I have worked my arse off.
Still thankful every day that I wake up healthy, and have the important things!

If you knew me about 20 years ago you would know why I am and feel very greatful.
I made it further then I ever dreamed and still wonder whats in store for me, not that I am wanting.

I am greatful to my parents for risking their lives in order to come to this country and their sacrafices to put me through engineering school. In a sort of strange twist (and I suppose this sounds rather mean) I am greatful to my wife's first husband who died early in life leaving behind Mrs K and two wonderful little girls for me to raise and call my own. I really don't deserve such a fine wife and great kids but I am greatful every day that they are mine.

My wife and I have worked hard. We have never been given anything. Inheritance, property, nothing. We are able to help our kids and grandkids, though I'm not sure how grateful they are.
Most of all I'm grateful to God, who gave his only son that I may have everlasting life.

If I sat on my butt and played volleyball (and surfed) for 40 years
and still have what I have now ... I'd be surprised and grateful.

Since I didn't, and have lived my life to it's fullest ... I'm out of breath
    and tried!

I'm surprised that I made it past 30 without going to prison or getting killed.

I'm grateful for the fine things in my life that I don't deserve - primarily my Kids.

From life and through God, I have received far more than I deserve.

I wish that I had the ability to aid more people than I do.

I deserve nothing..YOU deserve exactly as much as I do. What are we worth? Nothing. What do we deserve? Nothing. Isn't it time we started giving what we owe instead of asking what we deserve? Come now you unappreciative little girls and boys, isn't it time to think for a change, to give for a change.. instead of asking what you can get, or whatever you deserve that you aren't getting, can't you ask what you owe??

Looking over the answers here, I'm encouraged. Admittedly shocked, but encouraged.

If you can read it, I spelled it correctly..[:)]

Hard work with reward is nothing to be ashamed of. Life is suppose to be about enjoyment. Whether it is for one self or for giving to others.

Greatful; EVERY SINGLE DAY I WAKE UP!

Thank you Lord for all you have provided to this sinner and lost soul. Thanks for the comfort in times of pain and most of all thank you for what you gave to me long before I was even here.

    Yes, it was well said.

Sometimes I feel like I've had to fight for the simple things that just comes to others. I've been on top of the world. Through ignorance and arrogance I thought I was damn good.

Then there were times the world kicked my butt. I knew I wasn't as bad as the position I was in. I felt like a fool for thinking I was so great.

Now, I know to appreciate the good times. They don't always come around. Enjoy them when you can.

I feel like I have had to fight for everything I have, with many defeats, but others times, I look at the possessions, my house and other crap, compare it to others, and I am grateful. I've had to work hard for a middle class life. I look at those living a typical suburban life and still wonder how they do it.

I am grateful to have one great wife and no bad ex-wives.
