Forehead or Hand
Revelations 20:4
Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
My employer time clock is a scanner. Lay your right hand on the pad and place your fingers between the pins. Supposedly several cameras take pictures of your hand from different angles and compares it the pictures on file for your clock number. Length and diameter of the fingers, compared. Swollen hands can affect the scanners ability to identify you.
If you don't feel comfortable with using your right hand for religious reasons, you can use your left hand and turn it up side down, but in any case, the company whats to see your hand to allow you to clock in and out.
I do look forward to the day the image of my hand is deleted frm the companies computer. I suppose situations like this, much like many others, can desensitize people for the ultimate mark. Makes me wonder if the "mark" is already within our us as DNA or such. Also makes me wonder if we will identify the end when the time comes to chose forehead or hand.

Can't say I blame you. Between this and barcodes it makes you think. 0 -
I WILL NEVER TAKE THE MARK..BEHEAD ME FIRST 0 -
How do you see it that you're being marked?
They're just identifying you by examining "markings" you already possess. Did you also complain about putting your photo on an emplyee ID badge to allow recognition?0 -

No, it's just more than I prefer. Again, I see it as desensitization, but it make me wonder how difficult it will be to identify the "mark of the beast" when it comes.
Perhaps it is another example of when "Pushing the edge" becomes "over the edge". DO we know where the line is?0 -
I think if you are in tune with the Holy Spirit it won't be too hard to know it when you see it. The hard part is that so often the flavor of the mark seems to be in things that it really is not involved with.

I think I understand what you are getting at, and you do have a bit of a point. There was a time when I couldn't imagine people intentionally having tattoos on their forehead, face and neck. I was divested of those thoughts on my first trip to the "big city".
I don't think there is any danger of anybody taking the "mark of the beast" by accident. It will be a conscious act.0 -
Almost nine years ago when I got saved I thought these type of things must be many years in the future. But the way things have changed in those nine short years... well looks like its entirely possible very soon. 0 -
People will accept the mark when it becomes mandatory to sell, buy, and trade.[:(] 0 -
We are genuinely getting there.
