Hey Mr. Nunn...those darn bees!!!!!
Mr. Nunn:
It's that time again and their back...knowing your a fellow Daisy eradication specialist...what do you think about Airsoft? My eyes are getting too old for the pump Daisy...way too many pumps and ammo...I've never seen an Airsoft in action and I was wondering if they produce enough power to knock these bastids down.....
Thanks in advance...

Never shot airsoft, but they are bound to have about the same energy as a basic Daisy lever action BB gun. All you are trying to do is knock the bee down, then you can step on it. With the Daisy, I never got kills unless I hit the bee in the head, and then the BB usually just took the head off. Hits in the body knocked the bee to the ground disoriented, so I would then step on it.
I usually hit them with a tennis racket now. Takes too much time to kill them with a BB gun, though it is fun.0 -
Nunn:
Try the badminton racket. I used the tennis racket for seven years. Very effective, but, it is heavy. The badminton racket is much lighter, and you can swing it much faster. You would be amazed at how much better the badminton racket is.0 -
Try one of the portable bug zappers[:D]

Would have to agree on the electric tennis racket. We use ours camping. Nothing better than wacking a big 'ole bee or wasp and hearing it pop. 0 -
